Run leg of Ashland triathlon
Today I ran the run leg of the Ashland triathlon. Wow! 94 degrees, 6.8 miles although it was supposed to be an international distance triathlon. Very much uphill, this was the most difficult course I'd run since the Jones Amherst 10 miler early this spring. So many people were walking that it was unbelievable. Cyclonauts did exceptionally well on the podium. I broke the magic 200 BPM threshold today peaking at 201, I carried a 188 BPM average for the 58:30 of the run.
